These terms govern licences for the self-hosted software SEO Control Center ("the software") sold through seocc.net by Trio Group LLC ("we", "us", "our"). "You" means the person or organisation that buys the licence. By buying a licence or installing the software, you agree to these terms.

1. Ordering and payment

  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
  • Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself: payment, invoices, taxes and refunds.
  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. The price at checkout applies.
  • After payment, your licence key is sent by e-mail to the address you used at checkout.

2. Your licence

  • We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use one installation of the software on one domain (with or without www) for the paid term.
  • Your edition sets the limits, such as the number of projects and workspaces, and which features are included. They are listed on the pricing page.
  • Any number of people may use your installation, for example your staff and your clients.
  • You may run one additional installation for testing or staging (environment "Staging"), which needs no licence and must not be used for production work.
  • You may move your licence to another server or domain; remove it from the old installation first (how).

3. What you may not do

  • resell, rent out, lend, sublicense or redistribute the software, in whole or in part;
  • offer the software to third parties as a hosted service of its own;
  • remove, disable or circumvent the licence check, or share your licence key;
  • use the software for anything unlawful, or to process data you are not allowed to process.

The software and all rights in it remain with us. Third-party components included in the software are provided under their own open-source licences, listed in the software package.

4. Term, renewal and cancellation

  • A licence runs for one year and renews automatically for another year at the then current price, unless you cancel before the end of the current term. Paddle sends you a receipt for every renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt or by writing to sales@seocc.net. The licence then runs until the end of the paid term.
  • When a licence ends, nothing is deleted and your data stays readable. New licensed work (imports, rank checks, keyword metrics, analyses, AI access and updates) pauses until the licence is renewed.
  • If our license server cannot be reached, the software keeps working for 14 days past the paid date.
  • We may end a licence if you seriously breach these terms, for example by sharing your key, after telling you and giving you a chance to stop the breach where that is reasonable.

5. Updates and support

  • While your licence runs, you may install every update we release. Updates may add, change or remove features; we will not remove a core feature of your edition during a paid term.
  • Support is provided by e-mail in English at sales@seocc.net. We aim to reply within two working days, but do not guarantee a response time.
  • Support covers installing and using the software as described in the documentation. It does not cover your hosting, your Google or DataForSEO accounts, or SEO consulting.

6. Your responsibilities

  • You provide and operate hosting that meets the requirements, including backups and keeping your encryption key safe.
  • Google Search Console and DataForSEO are used with your own accounts, under their terms and, for DataForSEO, at their prices. You are responsible for the costs you set up there; the budgets in the software help, but do not replace your own control.
  • You are responsible for the lawful use of the data you process with the software, including any obligations towards your clients.

7. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of your purchase or renewal; see the refund policy. This does not limit any statutory rights you have.

8. Warranty

We develop the software with care and fix reported defects within a reasonable time. Apart from that, and to the extent permitted by law, the software is provided "as is", without further warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee particular search rankings, traffic or business results, or the availability and accuracy of data from Google or DataForSEO.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or wherever mandatory law does not allow them.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. Your SEO data stays on your own server; we never receive it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for future purchases and renewals. We will tell you about changes that affect you by e-mail at least 30 days before your next renewal; if you do not agree, you can cancel before it. The version shown when you buy or renew applies to that term.

12. Final provisions

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
  • If any provision is invalid, the rest remain valid.
