3. Activating your licence
Your licence key came by e-mail after your purchase. It looks like SCC-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
- Sign in as the administrator.
- Go to System → License.
- Paste the key and click Activate.
The page then shows:
- your edition;
- the valid-until date;
- your limits (projects, workspaces);
- which features are included.

How the licence works
- One installation per licence. The licence is bound to your installation and its domain, with or without
www. - Renewal: the licence is renewed yearly with your subscription. Your installation picks up the new date by itself; Refresh does it immediately.
- Offline-safe: your installation checks the licence about once a week. If the license server cannot be reached, everything keeps working for 14 days past the paid date.
- After expiry: nothing is deleted, and all data stays readable. New licensed work pauses: imports, rank checks, keyword metrics, analyses, AI access and updates. Renewing turns everything back on.
- Moving to a new server: on the old installation, click System → License → Remove licence, then activate the key on the new one. If the old server no longer exists, contact support.
Lost your key?
Contact support. You will receive a new key, and your installation keeps working in the meantime.
