This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on seocc.net and our related services. In short: we do not use any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Only the checkout, which is provided by our payment partner Paddle, uses cookies that are strictly necessary to process your payment securely.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. Strictly necessary cookies are required to provide a service you have explicitly requested, such as a payment. All other cookies, for example for analytics or advertising, may only be used with your consent, which is why we do not use them.
2. This website
The pages of this website, including the documentation and the legal pages, set no cookies and load no scripts or content from third parties. Fonts and images are served from our own server. A strict content security policy prevents other content from being loaded.
3. The checkout
The pricing and checkout pages load the checkout of Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), our reseller and merchant of record, so that you can buy a licence. When the checkout is loaded or opened, Paddle may store cookies or use similar technologies in your browser that are strictly necessary to provide the checkout, to keep the payment secure and to prevent fraud. Paddle acts as an independent controller for this processing; details are available in Paddle's Privacy Policy.
On these pages we show a short notice about this. If you confirm it, your browser stores the entry seocc-cookie-notice in its local storage, so that the notice is not shown again. This entry contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
4. License server and download page
The download page at license.seocc.net/download sets no cookies. The administration area of the license server uses a strictly necessary session cookie, which is only set for our own staff when they sign in.
5. The Software
Installations of the Software are operated by our customers on their own servers. They use a strictly necessary session cookie and a security token to keep users signed in and to protect forms, and store the chosen light or dark mode in the browser's local storage; they use no tracking cookies. The operator of each installation is responsible for it.

7. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in the settings of your browser at any time. Pages without the checkout are not affected. If you block the cookies used by Paddle, the checkout may not work, and you will not be able to complete a purchase online; please contact us at sales@seocc.net in that case.
8. Changes
If we change the way we use cookies, for example because we introduce a new service, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where consent is required, ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
